About this design

Part of the "shishu", an anthology of the poems written mainly keeping the children in mind. The poem is in a rhymed structure where the rhyme is in every alternate line. The last syllable of the lines is in match with each other. This poem is written in regular meters and has a ballad format. This might be termed as a trial to constitute an elegy in the form of the children poetry. Birpurush is hailed all over the world (the hero, in translation done by the poet himself later) for the poise and the poignant use of the verse.
